Dairy Flat Airfield

These pictures are just some of the many aircraft I have worked on 'Dairy Flats' airfield in New Zealand in the latter years as a either a volunteer or part time whilst retired.

 Engine overhaul on a 'Yak'.

Re-building a wing section on a WW1 'Whitworth Pup' biplane.

Making sections of the tailplane of a 'DH Dragon'.

The final fitting of the tailplane to a 'DH Dragon'.

Control panel of 'DH Dragon' which I fitted and completed the electrical system of the whole aircraft.

The first time the 'DH Dragon was wheeled out of the hager after restoration. The new starboard upper wing I built can be clearly seen still unpainted.

The 'DH Dragon' on it's first test flight after the complete rebuild.
